Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an AP/AR Clerk to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. The role involves various tasks within the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing. The job function is within the industry and requires the use of Microsoft Excel among other skills. The workplace is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where efficiency and accuracy are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
• Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Code invoices accurately and efficiently
• Maintain precise records of all billing activities
• Handle customer inquiries concerning their accounts
• Ensure the accuracy of the accounting cycle operations
• Assist in the implementation of standard operating procedures
• Support other departments with financial information as required
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial reporting
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Proven expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of the accounting cycle
• Experience in billing processes and procedures
• Ability to code invoices accurately and efficiently
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Comfort working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
