Robert Half Billing Assistant in Baltimore, Maryland
Description
We are in the market for a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team in the law industry, situated in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be entrusted with a variety of tasks including client billing, general administrative support, and reception duties. The employment type for this role is permanent.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, and issue client invoices ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm policies
• Assist in maintaining billing records and documentation
• Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding billing issues and discrepancies
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure billing is processed efficiently and accurately
• Manage reception duties, including answering inbound calls and email correspondence
• Maintain a high level of customer service when dealing with client queries
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) for data entry and other administrative tasks
• Operate legal billing software, preferably Clio, to process client bills and maintain customer records
• Apply strong attention to detail and organizational skills in all aspects of the role.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working in an administrative role or similar position
• Proven ability to answer inbound calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive experience for all clients
• Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Familiarity with managing email correspondence in a professional setting
• Experience with both inbound and outbound calls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word is essential
• Familiarity with Clio or another legal billing software is beneficial
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
