Description
Robert Half has a new direct-hire opportunity for a Billing Specialist for a well known employer in the Baltimore area. Your responsibilities in this role
Engage with vendors/clients regarding billing adjustments
Review and approve invoices
Work closely with project staff in the field
Maintain all project related billings
Send reminders for payments and contact customers if needed
Follow up with vendor/client requests
Put together reports for executives and senior managers
Prepare journal entries of adjustments to billings
Manage accounting records, recording all new payments, balances, customer information etc.
Check payments for accuracy, including cash and online payments
Keep all customer account information up to date and manage any problems
Issue bills and invoices and send to customers via available channels (physically or via email or another digital system)
Assemble all needed information for bills receivable calculation
Release periodical customer account statements
Check for billing data accuracy and fix any errors as needed
Help customers and manage complaints, including those regarding billing
Requirements
Requirements
2+ years of project billing experience
Expert in full-cycle billing
Expert with Microsoft Excel
Strong data entry and analytical abilities
Ability to work in a fast pace office environment
