Description

There's an exciting opportunity for a professional Bookkeeper through Robert Half at a growing Non-Profit firm. Having a strong set of social skills and a team work ethic would make you a prime candidate for this position. This role would be on a long-term contract / temporary to hire basis, and located in the Baltimore, Maryland area.

Responsibilities

  • Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping

  • Examine payments received and record deposits

  • Maintain quality historical records by filing documents

  • Maintain and balance general ledger

  • Balance accounts by reconciling entries

  • Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

  • Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

    Requirements - BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

  • Invoice reconciliation experience highly desired

  • Knowledge of Invoice Entry

  • Previous experience working with Coding Invoices

  • Prior experience with Invoice

  • Practical knowledge of Post Invoices

  • Excel Formulas experience desired

  • General familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Quickbooks ProAdvisor

  • Invoice Coding experience preferred

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks

  • Practical knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Comprehension of Enter Invoices

  • Foundational knowledge in Invoice Processing

  • Experience with customer invoices

  • Background working with Code Invoices

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Monthly Invoices

  • Invoice Discrepancies experience desired

  • Deep understanding of Invoice Payment

  • Good understanding of Coding Invoices

  • Hands-on experience with Enter Vendor Invoices

  • Foundational knowledge in Quickbooks Online

  • Approved Invoices experience highly valued

  • Quickbooks Premier experience highly desired

  • Adeptness in QuickBooks Pro

  • General familiarity with Payable Invoices

  • Command of Microsoft Excel

  • Aging Accounts experience highly preferred

  • Adeptness in Manual Invoices

  • Earlier work involving Approved Invoices

  • Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred

  • Previous experience using accounting software
