Robert Half Help Desk/ Jr. Systems Admin in Baltimore, Maryland
Description We are seeking a Help Desk Analyst to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is part of our IT department and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting Microsoft, I-Manage, Citrix, and Virtual Servers in a fully onsite environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide first-tier support to end-users for IT related issues
• Work extensively with Citrix and other comparable technologies
• Maintain and manage virtual servers
• Utilize ticketing system to track and resolve issues
• Ensure smooth operation of systems in a Microsoft Windows environment
• Actively seek opportunities to learn and move up within the company
• Utilize various databases and EO/IR systems for problem-solving
• Manage Lotus Notes and provide support as needed
• Handle active directory functions and tasks
• Support and troubleshoot computer hardware and desktop hardware
• Manage configuration of systems and provide deskside support as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Citrix Technologies is necessary for the role
• Familiarity with Database systems is required
• Competence in EO/IR systems is essential
• Experience with Lotus Notes is desired
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is mandatory
• Understanding of Active Directory is needed
• Knowledge of Computer Hardware is required
• Experience in Configuration Management is necessary
• Skills in Deskside Support is essential
