Robert Half HR Director in Baltimore, Maryland

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an HR Director role in the non-profit industry, based in Baltimore, Maryland. The job function involves managing and enhancing HR practices and objectives to provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture. This role will also oversee compliance, compensation administration, and employee relations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy

• Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues

• Manage the recruitment and selection process

• Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital

• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization

• Nurture a positive working environment

• Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance

• Maintain pay plan and benefits program

• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs

• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management Requirements • Extensive knowledge and experience in the non-profit sector

• Proven experience as an HR Director or similar role

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Deep understanding of Benefit Functions

• Comprehensive knowledge of Compensation Administration

• Familiarity with Compliance regulations and standards within the non-profit sector

• Strong background in managing Employee Relations

• Excellent leadership abilities and team management skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the objectives of the organization

• Proven track record in developing and managing budgets

• Proficiency in using HR software and databases.
