Robert Half Legal Assistant in Baltimore, Maryland
Description We are seeking a Legal Assistant based in Baltimore, Maryland. This role will be within a well-established firm, focusing primarily on bankruptcy and litigation. The candidate will be expected to handle various tasks independently as well as collaborate effectively with the team.
Responsibilities:
• Take responsibility for electronic filing in state and federal courts
• Manage bankruptcy filings and procedures
• Handle document management systems
• Operate Microsoft Office for various tasks
• Work both independently and as a part of a team
• Leverage specific knowledge of bankruptcy filing and procedure
• Utilize experience in litigation cases
• Maintain an organized workflow and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Respond to customer inquiries effectively and promptly
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. Requirements
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated knowledge in Bankruptcy law and Bankruptcy Filings.
• Proficient in Document Management and Electronic Document Management.
• Possess strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have a strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Demonstrated professionalism and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
