Description

We are seeking dedicated Patient Registration professionals to be part of our team in BALTIMORE, Maryland. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and is central to our operations in the healthcare industry. As a Patient Registration professional, your primary duties will involve managing patient registrations and ensuring the maintenance of accurate patient records. The shifts available are as follows:

Sun-Thursday Full Time Days 7a-330pm

Tues- Sat Full Time days ED 7a-330pm

Fri,Sat,Sun Part Time Days 7a-330pm

Sat, Sun, Mon Part time days 7a-330pm

Fri,Sat,Sun Part Time Nights 11p-730a

Sun- Thursday Full time Days 7a-330pm

Mon- Friday Ful time Days 5a-130p

Mon- Friday Full time Days 7a-330pm

Mon- Friday Full Time Days 7a-330pm a

Also looking for additional temporary support Mon- Sun 9a-930p, as concierge role in the ED

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the process of patient registration, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Maintain and update patient records to reflect the most current information

• Handle patient inquiries, providing information and resolving issues promptly

• Monitor patient accounts and undertake appropriate action when necessary

• Process and manage patient credit applications with precision

• Utilize knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes to facilitate patient registration process, working in Meditech software

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality patient service

• Adhere to all healthcare industry regulations and guidelines to maintain compliance

• Assist in scheduling patient appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of resources

• Provide support in other administrative tasks as needed in the patient registration process

Requirements

• Excellent communication, customer service and/or knowledge of Meditech software

• Proficient knowledge and practical application of ICD-10

• Demonstrated understanding of CPT Codes

• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality

• Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues

• Flexibility to work in different shifts, if required

• High school diploma or equivalent; further training will be a plus.
