Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the legal industry for a Paralegal. This position will be based in Baltimore, Maryland. As a Paralegal, you will be primarily responsible for supporting a Real Estate Development Practice Group, where your duties will encompass a broad range of real estate, loan, and construction matters.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing surveys, title commitments, and exception documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Drafting and managing title objection letters based on consultations with attorneys.

• Preparing a variety of real estate, loan, and construction documents including purchase agreements, leases, and standard construction contracts.

• Supporting the preparation of ancillary real estate transaction documents such as escrow instructions, deeds, easements, owner’s affidavits, closing certificates, and resolutions.

• Assisting in real estate, lending, construction, and leasing transactions as required.

• Drafting corporate, limited liability company, and partnership resolutions and formation documents.

• Maintaining entity files and assisting clients with compliance issues.

• Analyzing entity structure for compliance with Corporate Transparency Act.

• Analyzing and summarizing documents for review by attorneys.

• Managing legal due diligence including ordering and reviewing UCC, judgment and lien searches, zoning letters, and environmental reports.

• Assisting with the management of the closing process, including the compilation of execution documents and communication with all parties to transactions.

• Drafting, updating, and maintaining spreadsheets to track the status of transactions and pending agreements. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in the paralegal field, specifically within the legal industry.

• Proficient in performing Title Searches, Title Commitment, and managing Title Exceptions.

• Demonstrated skills in handling Leases, Deeds, and Escrow accounts.

• Experience in conducting Lien Searches is essential.

• Must have a strong understanding of legal terminology, principles, and research methods.

• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Bachelor's degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field is required.

• Certification from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program is preferred.

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
