Robert Half SEC Reporting Manager/Director in BALTIMORE, Maryland
One of Baltimore's premier organizations is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their expanding accounting team. The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for SEC filings and related matters including financial statement, footnote preparation, MD& A and related disclosure controls and procedures. They will also coordinate and interact with the Company’s external auditors on their audits, quarterly reviews and SEC filings. Other responsibilities include various accounting analysis and related reconciliations and control procedures for certain employee benefit related matters, financial statement preparation and audit coordination, as well as supporting ad hoc projects and requests (IR, Tax, Treasury, Corporate FP& A, HR, Audit, and others) as well as researching and resolving accounting and financial reporting issues.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
CPA (or parts passed)
6+ years professional audit/financial/accounting experience is required.
Good business sense, the ability to work independently and apply judgment, excellent complex problem solving and organizational skills and ability to meet strict monthly deadlines.
In-depth knowledge of financial accounting standards and SEC accounting requirements.
Strong understanding and knowledge of the company's business operations.
Knowledge of the Investment Community and the business community.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated experience interfacing with all organizational levels
Demonstrated ability to apply independent judgment to solve complex problems
Ability to work collaboratively to resolve issues
