The Staff Tax Accountant will join a team that has a track record of developing employees and providing opportunities for future growth. This role will provide a blend of income tax return preparation, along with other corporate tax return preparation to include personal property tax returns, sales & use tax returns, business licenses, and additional reporting responsibilities! This Corporate Tax Accountant can be an excellent transition for someone looking to exit public accounting!
A sample of responsibilities includes:
Quarterly and Annual income tax preparation
Tax Compliance
Tax Projections
Tax Audits
Various additional corporate tax returns to include sales & use taxes, personal property taxes, business licenses, and more!
Candidates should have a BS in Accounting and 1+ years of experience, ideally with exposure to public accounting and a focus on corporate/partnership tax. CPA is not required but a plus. Requirements
BS in Accounting
1-2 years of experience in public accounting tax, or corporate income tax
Might consider a recent grad with a tax internship in a mid-size to large public accounting firm
