Robert Half Purchasing Manager in Bamberg, South Carolina
Description Robert Half is looking to staff a Purchaser with our rapidly growing client! This Purchaser will research vendors, products, and services and negotiate contracts for the best price and value. This may be the role for you if you are an experience purchaser with excellent communication, inventory management and analytical skills.
What you get to do every day
Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams, making sure that goods are received on time
Maintain inventory and refill stock as necessary
Engage with new vendors and products at events, shows, and exhibitions
Inspect purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely
Discuss and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors
Attend and contribute to meetings with staff and other stakeholders
Review price and quality of potential products, vendors, and services in order to get the best deal
Update all records of purchased products
Analyze costs and write reports on purchases made Requirements - Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
Quality negotiation and communication skills
Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated organizational skills
