Robert Half Accounting Specialist in Barre, Vermont
Accounting Specialist needed on a contract basis to assist a local organization cover a medical leave.
The job duties of the Accounting Specialist will be:
Prepare monthly schedules (revenue flash, revenue by product, and miscellaneous other requests)
Prepare trend analysis for selected accounts
Preparation of month end closing journal entries
Review expenses for miscoding's and create reclassification entries
Review of financials and research of costs variances
Prepare monthly financials
Preparation and distribution of financials to branch managers and senior managers
Preparation of monthly allocations of costs
Analyze financial discrepancies and report findings to managers
Perform special projects and analysis as requested
Ideal qualifications needed to be successful in the Accounting Specialist role:
Solid communication (written, verbal, and interpersonal) skills are required
Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills are vital
Analytical thinking, sound judgement, and problem-solving skills are needed
Ability to work both independently and as a team player are essential
Capacity to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment is necessary
