Robert Half Accounts Receivable Analyst in Barrington, Illinois
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Analyst in Barrington, Illinois, United States. This role will focus on invoicing and cash flow management, requiring a detail-oriented individual with strong skills in accounting software systems and QuickBooks.
Responsibilities:
• Specialize in invoicing and cash flow management procedures
• Use QuickBooks and other accounting software systems for financial tasks
• Process customer credit applications and maintain customer credit records
• Monitor customer credit accounts and collect delinquent payments when necessary
• Utilize ERP solutions and IBM AS/400 for various accounting functions
• Manage accounts receivable and billing functions efficiently
• Handle cash activity and check processing tasks
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Ensure all accounting functions are performed in line with company policies and regulations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Familiarity with ERP Solutions is required
• Experience with IBM AS/400 is beneficial
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are necessary
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is required
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) is vital
• Familiarity with Billing Functions is preferred
• Experience in handling Cash Activity is beneficial
• Proficiency in Check Processing is an advantage
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is highly desirable
