Come to Liberty Corner, New Jersey, for this long-term temporary Project Assistant role This position will start off remotely however will eventually require an onsite presence

Major responsibilities

  • Requesting information needed to fill in incomplete documents

  • Documenting meetings and keeping records of assignments and progress

  • Utilizing online research tools to find information

  • Analyzing data, developing reports, proofreading and editing documents, and preparing presentations

  • Assist project teams by providing administrative, technical and clerical support

  • Planning travel and accommodation details for training seminars, conferences and additional project-related events

  • Providing support to Project Managers by organizing team meetings and communication per project specifications in order to maintain project deliverable schedules

  • Distributing project information to key partners

Requirements

  • Experience with project management software is a plus, i.e. Microsoft Project, JIRA, Mavenlink, and NetSuite

  • At least 1+ years of business/office experience

  • Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • High school diploma or its equivalent required; a BA/BS degree in business, communications, or related field is highly preferred

  • Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

  • Database management experience required

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Word

  • Microsoft Excel experience preferred

  • Comprehensive knowledge of data entry

  • Skill in Microsoft Office Suite applications - Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request

  • Knowledge of database and file management
