Robert Half Global Benefits Manager in BATESVILLE, Indiana


Robert Half Management Resources is looking for a Global Benefits Manager to partner with our Manufacturing client for a 12-18 month remote project!

This role will assist in leading and developing all aspects of strategic planning, design, implementation, and administration of all benefits provided to employees globally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Lead the strategic design, implementation, and plan administration of global benefits offerings

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand local benefit needs and external market competitiveness of global benefits offerings

• Provide expertise or guidance around the design and execution of global or local programs in regions

• Maintain in depth understanding of global benefits landscape and provide expertise in both technical aspects of benefit plan administration and market trends

• Lead the administration and infrastructure development of all benefit programs to ensure that quality and compliance goals are met.

• Maintenance of all benefit plan documents including summary plan descriptions.

• Governance and compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.

• Work with third party consultants to provide analysis and assess market competitiveness of all plans annually

• Partner with third party consultants to develop an effective communication strategy and

• Act as primary point of contact for benefit-related vendors and manage vendor relationships including vendor payment and tracking/cost control

• educational materials to ensure that benefit programs are fully understood and appropriately valued by employees, managers, HR and leadership.

• Evaluates benefits processes, utilizes process mapping/re-engineering strategies to streamline and expedite delivery of services to all levels of the organization

• Support the Negotiations Team in union negotiations with benefit analysis and strategies.

• Lead and/or manage implementation of large-scale projects or programs to drive our corporate strategy throughout all operating companies.

• Develop and manage annual budget and monitor /report variances for benefits department and health and welfare.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable country, state/territory and other regulations

• Drive and execute on cross-functional projects from planning through change management


Benefits Administration, Benefits Analysis, Benefits Design, Compensation & Benefits, Dental Benefits, Insurance Benefits, Medical Benefits, Retirement Benefits, Welfare Benefits, Vision Benefits, Project Management, Cross Functional Project Management, Global HR, Global Infrastructure


• 5+ years' experience with project management related to benefits in a company with a global presence

• Administration of self-funded medical plans experience

• Experience leading and driving benefits programs in a multinational company

• Advanced knowledge in benefits plan design and administration

• Advanced experience with regulatory compliance in benefits programs

• Must be able to collaborate with teams in a dynamic and globally matrixed environment

• Experience developing and driving benefits automation processes
