Robert Half Accounts Receivable Manager in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This role will involve managing a team and overseeing all aspects of accounts receivable and collections activities. The selected candidate will be responsible for cash management, AR KPI reporting, and resolving escalated billing and collections issues.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing and managing the entire accounts receivable process
• Managing a team of collectors and ensuring efficient collections activities
• Interacting with customers to resolve escalated billing and collections issues
• Monitoring and reporting on AR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintaining accurate customer credit records
• Taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Providing support for month-end close activities within the Accounts Receivable function
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Reconciling accounts and producing aging reports as needed
• Conducting business-to-business collections activities. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Ability to generate and interpret Aging Reports
• Expertise in Commercial Collections
• Familiarity with Month-end Close Activities
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing an accounts receivable team
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred
• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or similar role
