Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This role is primarily based in a testing site environment, where you will be responsible for organizing and securing web-based testing for various professional credentials. Proficiency in using apps and computers is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the greeter station at the testing site
• Assist in checking in candidates for their respective tests
• Ensure that candidates do not bring unauthorized materials into the testing site
• Conduct regular walk-throughs of the testing site to prevent cheating
• Utilize specific apps and systems to start and stop tests
• Respond to emails and other forms of communication in a timely manner
• Perform light office work as needed
• Conduct identity verification checks for test takers
• Utilize automated test systems for efficient operation
• Provide administrative assistance as required. Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of one year of experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Automated Test tools is required.
• Experience in Identity Verification processes is essential.
• Strong skills in Administrative Assistance are necessary.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills are needed.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of discretion and judgement in handling confidential information.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• High school degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus.
