Description We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This role involves solving organizational information problems by designing systems, improving processes, and recommending system controls and protocols. The BI Consultant will use their strong problem-solving skills to analyze and visualize our business solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure manual processes are completed accurately while simultaneously developing automated replacements
• Maintain knowledge of systems including BI tools, SQL, SSRS, Microsoft Office
• Understand business objectives by gathering information and evaluating output requirements and formats
• Learn to utilize all of the business software and assist in the enhancement of the company's automated processes
• Act as a liaison between Administration and technology teams
• Utilize BusinessObjects Technologies and Cognos Business Intelligence for data analysis and reporting
• Manage Database and EO/IR systems effectively
• Develop and implement MicroStrategy for business intelligence solutions
• Conduct AB Testing and Analytics to improve business processes and strategies
• Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Intelligence Technologies to analyze and improve business operations. Requirements
• Extensive knowledge and experience with BusinessObjects Technologies is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Cognos Business Intelligence is essential.
• Candidates should have a strong understanding of database management and structures.
• Experience with EO/IR systems is necessary.
• Proficiency in MicroStrategy Development is a must.
• Familiarity with AB Testing methods and applications is required.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data are required.
• Candidates need a solid understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) concepts and applications.
• Experience with Business Intelligence Technologies is necessary.
• The ability to create and interpret Business Requirement Documents is required.
