Robert Half Network Engineer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Description We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The role will involve working with clients to provide best-practices recommendations pertaining to virtualization and backup environment. This position is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in the telecom industry.
Responsibilities:
• Provide storage and server design and implementation of Storage Systems.
• Administer storage systems in a Storage Area Network (SAN) and direct attached environment.
• Work with Fiber Channel configuration.
• Demonstrate network familiarity with NFS and iSCSI installations.
• Exhibit familiarity with Network Attached Storage (NAS) protocols.
• Display strong hands-on experience in shared storage environments – design and implementation.
• Demonstrate familiarity with virtual server administration (VMware).
• Show knowledge of Cisco UCS environments.
• Display familiarity with tape and disk backup and recovery concepts.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Display excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Showcase the ability to work in a team environment and train others.
