Description Senior Application Programmer We are in search of a Senior Application Programmer to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this role, you will be working on various technologies such as SAP ABAP, Web Dynpro for ABAP, SAP Web IDE, SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, JAVA, JavaScript, SAP Adobe Lifecycle Designer, SAP Workflow, and SAP HANA. This job offers a long-term 3 Year contract employment opportunity. This role is ON-SITE.
Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain applications using SAP ABAP, Web Dynpro for ABAP, and SAP Web IDE • Implement frontend designs using SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 • Write and test code in JAVA and JavaScript • Create forms and documents using SAP Adobe Lifecycle Designer • Manage workflows with SAP Workflow • Utilize SAP HANA for database management and operations • Use Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking • Perform backend development tasks as per project requirements • Maintain code versions and document changes using GitHub • Work in Agile Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives • Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed applications and updates. Requirements Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira • Experience with Backend Development • Knowledge of DB2 Database • Familiarity with GitHub • Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies • Ability to produce clear and concise Documentation • Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) skills • Proficiency in SAP, SAP HANA, SAP Web Dynpro, and SAP UI5 • Java and JavaScript programming skills • Excellent problem-solving abilities • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously • Attention to detail and quality • Commitment to continuous learning and skill development • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
