Description
Robert Half is partnering with a rapidly growing Baton Rouge healthcare company in search of a dynamic Accounting Manager. This role handles financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, revenue management, cash flow analysis, budgeting and forecasting, audit preparation, internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. How you will make an impact
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAA
Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Requirements
• Proficient in Financial Statement Preparation
• Demonstrated experience with General Ledger
• Skilled in conducting Reconciliations
• Strong aptitude for Analysis
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification is desired
• Minimum of five years of experience in accounting or related field
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Experience with accounting software systems
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Able to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
