Robert Half AP/AR Specialist in Bayonne, New Jersey
Description We are recruiting an AP/AR Specialist for our team based in Bayonne, New Jersey. This role involves working within the manufacturing and distribution industry, with a focus on accounting and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Conduct regular check runs and invoice processing.
• Handle account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate records.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and to perform tasks such as VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables.
• Develop familiarity with software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to assist with accounting tasks and processes.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger.
• Work on financial statements as part of the accounting team.
• Learn and adapt to new software such as NetSuite for accounting processes.
• Contribute to the team’s goal of growth and continuous improvement within the role.
• Undertake any additional responsibilities related to the AP/AR Specialist role as required. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Demonstrated experience in Account Reconciliation
• Familiarity with Check Runs process
• Proficient in Coding Invoices
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Experience in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Oracle software
• Experience with QuickBooks software
• Knowledge of SAP software
