Description
Prestigious services company has partnered with Robert Half on their search for a Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist with QuickBooks expertise. In this role, you will prepare and process accounts payable transactions, process client invoices, maintain employee records, benefits, and payroll deductions. This candidate will also reconcile payroll accounts, process payroll, assist with cost allocations, prepare daily cash deposits, and reconcile cash receipts. In this Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist role, you will keep aligned with compliance by following general accounting policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
· Enter and process accounts payable/receivable
· Assist with administrative requests
· Process payroll
· Maintain internal file/record keeping system
· Post journal entries
· Spreadsheet Maintenance
· Daily cash receipts
· Generate payroll related reports
· Assist with the annual audit process
· Prepare financial statements
Requirements
The ideal Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.
Other requirements for the Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist role include and are not limited to:
· 2+ years of Bookkeeping experience
· Payroll experience a big plus
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· ADP experience a plus
