Description

Peter Danielson with Robert Half is hiring a Plant Controller for a well known food manufacturer. This role will lead budgeting/forecasting efforts, and will assist the organization by thoroughly analyzing operation and costs. Ultimately, this role will have the opportunity to monitor and improve the financial performance of two important plants. A CPA or MBA is preferred, but experience in a plant environment will be given very strong consideration. Additionally, qualified candidates will be comfortable engaging with various departments, and using acquired information to model competing scenarios.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is highly desirable.

• Proven work experience as a Plant Controller or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or consumer products industry.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control.

• Proficient in financial software and ERP systems. Experience with SAP or other similar systems is a plus.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

• Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
