Description

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking an interim Controller for prominent company in the Beaverton area. This is projected to be a 5-6-month project. In this role, the Controller plays a key role in assisting with the company’s financial decisions, provide excellent accounting expertise, and create strategic plans based on the company’s financial performance. The Controller will provide thorough financial-status reports for senior management to help improve operation and aid in the company’s continued growth. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operations of the accounting department

  • Manage all aspects of accounting

  • Special reports and analyses as needed

  • Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding finances and taxes

  • Provide regular reporting on status of corporate finances

  • Budget forecasting and planning

  • Implementation of internal control policies and procedures

  • Ensure that accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll are processed and paid in a timely manner

  • Maintain an organized accounting system and a system of controls

  • Produce timely and complete financial statements

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or finance

  • CPA preferred

  • Advanced Degree – MBA, Masters of Accounting, etc. a plus

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • Strong proficiency with Excel and industry standard accounting software, including Crystal Reports and Hyperion

  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing tasks
