Description Robert Half currently has a first-rate opportunity for a highly-skilled and motivated Human Resources Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for handling a number of different personnel related administrative tasks and will provide clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This opening is with an organization in the Beaverton, Oregon area and is a long-term contract / temporary position.
Major responsibilities
Use the internet to research potential customers
Oversee employee database records
Oversee office and administrative tasks
Assist in new employee on-boarding orientation planning Requirements - Knowledge in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
Approachable and appropriate demeanor when interacting with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing environment
Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
Strong familiarity with calendar managements and scheduling appointments
HRIS experience desired
Experience with Full Cycle Recruiting
Administrative Assistance experience
Command of Human Resources (HR) Administration
Demonstrated knowledge of SAP
Adeptness in Microsoft Office Suites
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
