Are you passionate about driving operational excellence through technology? As a Sr. ERP Manufacturing Business Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of implementing a cutting-edge ERP system. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring a seamless transition to a more efficient future. Your expertise in the IT Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) will be instrumental in delivering successful projects that drive growth and streamline operations. This is an FTE opportunity with a company in the Portland, OR metro area and offers a hybrid schedule of at minimum 2 days onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth interviews and facilitate workshops to uncover critical business requirements and pain points.

  • Research, analyze, and model complex information to develop comprehensive and well-structured requirements.

  • Differentiate between solution ideas and core business needs by decomposing high-level information and abstracting up from low-level details.

  • Be the go-to analyst for the Oracle E-Business Suite ERP system supporting BOM, WIP, Inventory, PIM and warehouse management

  • Clearly communicate and validate requirements with client management and stakeholders through engaging presentations.

  • Facilitate collaborative discussions to address and resolve conflicting requirements among stakeholders.

  • Research, document, and validate current and future state processes and designs, both functional and technical.

  • Offer expert insights to define the best approaches, alternatives, and decision frameworks for analyzing business solutions.

  • Apply your practical experience with ERP systems in a discrete manufacturing environment to drive effective solutions.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in SQL query experience in an Oracle environment, along with advanced knowledge of Visio, Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft O365 tools.

  • Coordinate software vendor service requests and escalate production support issues as needed.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field is preferred.

  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role

  • 5+ Years hands on experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL and able to write queries

  • Strong business analysis skills

  • Must have prior experience in the manufacturing sector.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Knowledge of current manufacturing industry trends and technologies such as BOMs, PIM, WIP, WMS

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Ability to interpret and analyze data effectively.

  • Must be able to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.

  • Proficiency in Oracle EBS is preferred

  • Knowledgeable in Power BI and Logility is a nice to have
