We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant to work with one of our clients based in Beaverton, OR The selected candidate will be supporting the team in overcoming a backlog in reconciliations, which will enable the year-end closure. The Staff Accountant will also be assisting with Accounts Payable tasks for part of the week. The role necessitates proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in overcoming a backlog in bank reconciliations to facilitate year-end closure

• Supporting Accounts Payable tasks for a portion of the week

• Managing the General Ledger and making necessary Journal Entries

• Conducting Month End Close tasks meticulously

• Leveraging QuickBooks for various accounting tasks

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Requirements • Possess strong knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) operations.

• Demonstrated experience in performing Bank Reconciliations.

• Proficiency in maintaining and managing the General Ledger.

• Experience in preparing and reviewing Journal Entries.

• Ability to handle Month End Close tasks efficiently.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks accounting software.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
