Description

We are in the process of recruiting a Controller in the Healthcare/NHS industry, located in Oak Lawn, Illinois. This role focuses on managing and overseeing various financial operations within the company, from handling the Treasury Function to coordinating Risk Management and Insurance programs.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present financial and operational results to the Board of Directors on a regular basis.

• Manage the Treasury Function, including managing credit lines, bank balances, loan payments, meeting covenant requirements, and overseeing bank audits.

• Oversee all financial transactions within the organization, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial regulations.

• Manage cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.

• Manage relationships with external partners such as CPA firms and provide financial data as needed.

• Maintain adequate internal controls throughout the organization and work towards continual improvement of controls.

• Work closely with the operations teams to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

• Work closely with the Reimbursements Group to improve collections and promptly identify and resolve problems.

• Coordinate the Risk Management and Insurance programs to ensure organizational compliance and risk mitigation.

• Handle the Property Management Software program and assist the executive team on leasing issues.

• Function as the administrator for the 401K and Payroll Systems, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with regulations.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and provide a full range of business solutions.

• Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

• Work with the Executive Team to prepare and present financial data to potential investors.

Skills:

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, Budget Processes, NetSuite, CPA.

Requirements • A minimum of 7 years' experience in a Controller role within the Healthcare/NHS industry

• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required

• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services software

• Demonstrable experience in managing Accounting Functions

• Knowledge and experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven expertise in Auditing processes

• Familiarity with Budget Processes in the healthcare/NHS industry

• Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software.
