Robert Half Accounting Manager in Bellaire, Texas

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry. This role is located in Bellaire, Texas, 77401, United States.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general accounting functions

• Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports

• Handle billing functions and ensure timely and accurate invoicing

• Implement and maintain ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning system for efficient management of resources

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services for managing payroll and employee data

• Work closely with the team to use Concur for travel and expense management

• Manage the use of BlackLine software for financial close management

• Supervise and train staff in various accounting tasks and systems

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with BlackLine is necessary

• Proficiency in Concur is required

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential

• Able to handle various Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Auditing procedures

• Ability to manage Billing Functions

• Must have a degree in accounting, finance or relevant field

• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry

• Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting

• Must possess strong organizational and leadership skills

• Should have an understanding of business principles and practices

• Superior attention to detail

• Must be proficient in relevant laws and regulations

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must possess strong problem-solving skills

• Must have a high level of integrity and dependability
