Robert Half Sr. Accountant in Bellaire, Texas
Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in Bellaire, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including account and balance sheet reconciliation, handling general ledger and journal entries, as well as utilizing software such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and Yardi.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Analyze balance sheets and manage account reconciliation
• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy
• Manage and maintain the general ledger
• Prepare journal entries and execute month-end close procedures
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data organization and financial reporting
• Operate NetSuite for business management processes
• Use Oracle for database management and reporting
• Implement SAP for real-time business data management
• Utilize Yardi software for real estate and property management
• Work with commercial real estate transactions and accounting. Requirements
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role or similar
• Proven expertise in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is required
• Demonstrable experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries is necessary
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
• Experience with Month End Close processes is crucial
• Familiarity with Yardi software platforms is beneficial
• Knowledge and understanding of the Commercial Real Estate industry is desirable
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• Professional certification such as CPA is a plus.
