Description We are looking for a Sr. Procurement Consultant to join our team in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. This role will be focused on improving our buying processes, ensuring compliance with government procurement regulations, and developing strategies to optimize our procurement processes. This opportunity offers a short-term contract employment in the telecom industry.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all aspects of the buying processes
• Ensure strict compliance with government procurement regulations and policies
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize operations
• Handle all procurement-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Play a leading role in the development and implementation of procurement strategy. Requirements • Extensive knowledge of Buying Processes and Procurement Strategy.
• Proficiency in Government Procurement.
• Solid understanding of Compliance and its application to procurement.
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining Procurement Documentation.
• Demonstrable ability to develop and implement Procurement Processes.
• Prior experience in a senior procurement role or consultancy is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
