Description
Robert Half is looking for a Director of Finance to join a well-respected company. The director of finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills in order to be a part of the management team. If you are an experienced VP/Director of Finance looking for a challenging role at an established company, this may be the role for you.
Major responsibilities
Aid in developing department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions
Implement and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives
Comply with all budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal
Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance
Hire, train, and retain finance staff
Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts
Manage the preparation of all financial reports
Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department
Work with department managers to develop five-year business plans
Direct, review, and prepare budget management and financial planning functions
Oversee insurance and risk management
Maintains and reviews budgeting and forecasting models
The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 + bonus.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
Efficiency in a variety of accounting and financial reporting systems
High analytical and extremely detailed
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
MBA or CPA is preferred
10+ years of accounting and finance experience
