As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every day
Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
An endless desire to improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Take part in various department-wide initiatives
Complete other projects as required
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Manage monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Organize quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Compose Balance Sheet account reconciliations Requirements - Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Previous experience in financial reporting
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Foundational knowledge in Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Solid understanding of month end closings
Prepare Financial Statements experience required
Journal entries experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports
Proven ability to work and communication well with manager-level associates
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
