Robert Half has a full-time opportunity for Staff Accountant candidates who want to become a critical part of an innovative company. The ideal candidate for this Staff Accountant position can prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation. The ideal candidate for this position can perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. Key responsibilities
Manage intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation
Take part in various department-wide initiatives
Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP
Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation
Maintain depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation
Assemble analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management reporting
In-depth experience with reconciling month end balance sheet accounts
Impromptu reporting and special projects, when requested
Conduct month end close and compose journal entries with minimal supervision
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll
Coordinate and analyze a variety of financial data, then report it in a way that is useful and understandable
Manage schedules for monthly payments and capital lease
Regular maintenance and reconciliation of journal entries
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 + year end bonus.

Requirements
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
ERP system experience
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required
General familiarity with Treasury Activities
Year end closings experience highly desired
General Accounting experience desired
Knowledge of journal entries
Well-founded grasp of financial analysis
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong familiarity with reconciliations
Foundational knowledge in month end closings
Proven knowledge of financial reporting
Demonstrated ability in strong analytical, quantitative and social skills
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Recent and relevant accounting experience
Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
Detailed and have the ability work independently
Competent with spreadsheets and databases
