Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Instructional Designer to join our client's team on an ongoing contract basis. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating engaging, high-quality learning content for a variety of delivery methods, including e-learning, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop instructional material for training courses that support company technical products.
Apply instructional design theories and practice and assist in the development of e-Learning modules and other educational materials.
Develop instructionally sound content from information provided by subject matter experts.
Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.
Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts.
Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods.
Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc).
Maintain project documentation and course folders.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an instructional designer, preferably in a corporate or educational setting.
Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and LMS platforms.
Strong understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
