One of our clients in Benicia is looking for an Accounts Receivable clerk for a contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately processing and efficiently handling customer credit applications.
• Maintaining precise records of customer credit.
• Regularly reviewing invoices for accuracy and ensuring they are sent out promptly.
• Processing and reconciling credit cards on a daily basis.
• Posting credit memos as required.
• Engaging in light collections activities which include sending soft reminder calls and emails.
• Regularly reviewing the general Accounts Receivable mailbox.
• Responding to customer inquiries as needed.
• Filing and organizing relevant documents.
• Utilizing systems like Syspro and Microsoft Excel for various tasks.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory for this position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Applicants should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Candidates should be capable of multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work is necessary.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Experience in using financial software and systems is preferred.
• Candidates should possess a strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
• Ability to prioritize and manage expectations.
• Applicants should have the ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
