Description We are in the process of recruiting a Network Engineer to join our team in the Financial Services industry, based in BENSALEM, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of new locations, equipment, and technologies, as well as network system life cycle efforts.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading the implementation and deployment of new locations, equipment, and technologies.

• Maintaining and updating network equipment with software patches and firmware updates to ensure reliability, performance, and up-to-date security.

• Conducting site and equipment audits and maintenance at branch locations and secondary data centers as needed.

• Reviewing, auditing, and remedying network devices for compliance with security standards.

• Supporting other teams and groups in their day-to-day tasks.

• Analyzing and diagnosing reported network problems, documenting root causes, providing recommendations for remediation, and performing corrective actions.

• Working with third parties and vendors for problem escalation and resolution.

• Developing a working knowledge of the business side and interfacing effectively with all user groups in the organization.

• Mentoring entry level staff and providing knowledge sharing to other members in the department.

• Demonstrating a strong technical aptitude and efficient problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrating an understanding of network and security monitoring tools to ensure the availability and integrity of network communications and systems.

• Working with and coordinating with multiple third-party vendors and service providers.

• Executing and implementing hardware changes, configuration changes, and design changes while following change control guidelines.

The successful candidate will have skills in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Design, Eigrp, Firewall Technologies, and Cisco Certification. Requirements • Proficient in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Cisco Technologies, and Cisco Routers

• Must have expertise in Configuration Management and Design

• Proficient in Firewall Technologies and Computer Hardware

• Must have a strong understanding of Checkpoint and Cisco ASA

• Able to work with Eigrp

• Must hold a Cisco Certification

• Experience in the financial services industry is a plus

• Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve network issues

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must have a proactive approach to network optimization
