Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Application Support Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you will provide second and third level technical support to all users of our applications, ensuring the quality and performance of applications within your scope. You will also serve as a Business Systems Analyst and SQL Server Database Administrator, working with other IT departments to improve manual processes with automation and ensure the security of the company’s data.

Responsibilities:

• Provide second/third level technical support to all users of company applications

• Maintain responsibility for the quality and performance of applications within scope

• Train staff on effective use of applications and technology tools

• Develop, maintain, and integrate business-critical applications such as customer portals, reporting software, data warehouse

• Configure ERP system, maintain user maintenance, audits, data integrity, solution building, and break/fix

• Support, design, test and coordinate the implementation of process modules within the network including satellite locations

• Serve as SQL Server Database Administrator, providing technical support for the database environment related to the ERPs

• Collaborate with other IT departments in the design, management and monitoring of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity tools and procedures

• Improve manual processes with automation

• Provide regular and accurate management reporting on the performance of applications within scope

• Serve as an ambassador for IT, building relationships with teams to ensure effective dialogue within and between departments

• Use skills such as Cisco Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Microsoft, AB Testing, Active Directory, Application Support, Computer Hardware, and Configuration Management to perform your duties effectively.

Requirements

• Proficient in using Cisco Technologies for network management and troubleshooting

• Demonstrated experience with Database Management and Administration

• Familiarity with Dell Technologies and its usage in IT infrastructure

• Understanding of EO/IR systems and their application

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other Microsoft technologies

• Experience with AB Testing methodologies for application optimization

• Knowledge of Active Directory for user and resource management

• Prior experience in an Application Support role is desired

• Familiarity with Computer Hardware for troubleshooting and maintenance

• Expertise in Configuration Management for systems and software

• Understanding and experience with Cloud ERP systems for business process management
