Description We are offering a position for a Receptionist in the retail industry, based in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States. This role involves answering phones, attending to the front desk in the office, and other duties related to the receptionist function. This is a contract employment opportunity and does not require full-time commitment.
Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Direct calls to the appropriate department or staff member
• Provide general information to callers
• Greet and direct visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensure the front desk and reception area is tidy and presentable
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
• Ensure the smooth operation of the office by effectively managing the reception area. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 1-year experience in a Receptionist role, preferably within the retail industry
• Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers and staff members effectively
• Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Availability to work part-time hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary
• Experience in handling receptionist duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and providing customer service
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus
• Must have the legal right to work in the location of the job
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
