Description
Our client is a thriving medical practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for everyone who visits our clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a genuine desire to help people.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
Answer and manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and direct calls to the appropriate department
Check patients in and out, verifying and updating necessary information
Maintain and manage patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and confidential
Handle patient inquiries and provide information about our services
Process payments and insurance informa
tion
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Requirements
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or related field is a plus
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a medical setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with computers and familiarity with medical software systems (e.g., EHR/EMR systems)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with professionalism and calm
Friendly and compassionate demeanor, with a patient-centric approach
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
