Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity in Bethel Heights, Arkansas, United States for an Accounting Clerk. In this role, you will be operating with a primary focus on tasks related to Accounts Receivable (AR), Data Entry, and Spreadsheets.
Responsibilities
• Process and manage customer credit applications with precision and efficiency
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly to ensure accuracy
• Address customer inquiries regarding credit in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor customer credit accounts vigilantly to identify any delinquent payments
• Take appropriate actions to collect overdue payments from customers
• Ensure all data entry tasks are completed accurately and within the given time frame
• Utilize spreadsheets effectively for accounting and data management purposes
• Adhere strictly to all company policies and regulatory standards in all tasks
• Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues in customer credit accounts promptly and professionally.
Requirements • Proven experience in the role of an Accounting Clerk or a similar position.
• Proficient in managing Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Demonstrable ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Knowledge of creating, managing, and interpreting spreadsheets.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and other related computer applications.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of standard accounting principles and regulations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
