My client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their passionate team at a boutique firm in the Washington-DC area. As a Paralegal with us, you’ll be the engine that helps the firm running smoothly. From managing active cases to ensuring deadlines are met with finesse, your attention to detail and proactive approach will be the cornerstone of the firm's success.

Responsibilities:
Keep our case files and databases meticulously organized, ensuring that crucial information on active cases is always accurate and up-to-date.
Stay ahead of the game by monitoring case progress and keeping our legal eagles informed of upcoming deadlines and significant developments.
Take charge of preparing and filing legal documents—whether it’s state or federal filings, pleadings, motions, or discovery requests, you’ll ensure they’re submitted promptly and flawlessly.
Serve as our liaison with external parties, including clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel, facilitating smooth communication and collaboration.
Assist our attorneys in gearing up for meetings, hearings, and trials by gathering and organizing all the necessary materials with finesse.
Handle the nitty-gritty administrative tasks—from scheduling appointments to managing calendars and handling correspondence, you’ll be the go-to person for keeping things running like clockwork.

Requirements
Qualifications:
MUST have complex/commercial litigation experience, including the following:
MUST have Court filing/e-filing experience (state/federal)
MUST have previous experience as a Litigation Paralegal (ideally commercial litigation)
MUST have previous experience preparing subpoena requests, managing and reviewing subpoena responses, and ability to digest financial records
MUST have previous experience preparing discovery requests/responses, including preparing the document production, and reviewing opposing side’s responses for completeness.
MUST be tech savvy—ideally this person knows how to use Clio
MUST want to work remotely for a small firm
MUST be located in the following time zones: Eastern, Central, Mountain Time
