Description
We are in search of a diligent Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania. You will be working within the telecom industry, focusing on various accounting and financial tasks. The role calls for accurate and efficient handling of bills, invoices, and account inquiries, contributing to the smooth running of our financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Review and process all bills and vouchers for payment.
• Prepare invoice deduction notices when necessary.
• Match purchase orders with bills and ensure each bill is approved by a manager before payment.
• Conduct data entry of vendor invoices.
• Promptly respond to and resolve all vendor inquiries.
• Analyze vendor accounts and prepare accounts payable checks.
• Print all accounts payable reports and maintain accounts payable files.
• Conduct analysis of accounts as required.
• Assist in monthly closings.
• Assist with accounts receivable and special projects as necessary.
• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Enter Invoices, Enter Vendor Invoices to ensure efficient and accurate work.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and practices
• Experience in entering invoices into financial systems
• Familiarity with processing vendor invoices
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidential financial information
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• High school diploma or equivalent educational level
• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous.
