Description

Lehigh Valley manufacturing company is seeking a Mater Production Scheduler. The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for creating daily and weekly production schedules. By effectively scheduling employees and machines, the Production Scheduler helps ensure that company objectives are achieved and that all deadlines are met. Additionally, the Master Production Scheduler must be able to comprehend reports and make suggestions about where improvements might be made.

Master Production Scheduler Responsibilities:

• Create and/or organize a production schedule on a daily basis and also make sure that every output (level) is recorded appropriately in the correct system.

• Work hand-in-hand with other employees to make sure that all issues that are related to scheduling are properly handled and resolved.

• Identify problems and offer solutions to help improve processes.

• Use APS software, as well as database software (Access/Excel) to generate reports and schedules.

• Ensure that company deadlines are met.

• Report back to team members on delays in delivery.

Production Schedule Requirements:

• Associates degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Project Management or equivalent, plus (3-5 years) experience required.

• Must possess at a basic knowledge of supply chain activities.

• Must be able to work with little or no supervision.

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to relate respectfully, cordially, and freely with all members of the organization; on the phone, in-person and through e-mail.

• Experience in production is required, experience with CNC machinery is a plus.

• Must possess good leadership abilities.

• Must exhibit a high level of flexibility and an ability to multi-task at all times.

• Must have an intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Excel; use of formulas and Pivot Tables are a requirement.

• Experience with APS / MRP systems are required; Syteline experience is a plus.

• Ability to create and understand reports in order to make production decisions.

• A desire to promote the success of the organization and production staff.
