Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Azure and Salesforce. The ideal candidate will focus on data curation, cleaning, structuring, and integrating data from various sources, including Salesforce.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain complex database systems.
Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data collection and processing.
Curate and clean data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Utilize Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services to build data solutions.
Develop and maintain optimal data structures and architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs.
Implement data quality checks and validation processes.
Optimize data storage and retrieval systems.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Design, maintain, and implement robust, scalable, and secure database solutions.
Optimize database performance and implement effective backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Develop and maintain database-driven applications and web services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and document data requirements.
Implement data governance policies and procedures.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's data strategy.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Database Administrator.
Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and other Azure data services.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, objects, and data integration techniques.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data lakes.
Experience with ETL tools and processes.
Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
