We are offering an exciting opportunity for a REMOTE Manager of Financial Reporting to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama. This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health and transparency of our organization. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with global teams, making this a truly international role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the preparation of financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards

• Conduct financial analysis to provide insights into the company's performance and financial health

• Implement and maintain internal financial reporting systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data

• Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

• Manage the annual budgeting process and prepare monthly forecasts to guide business decisions

• Ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS)

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting

• Utilize advanced Excel formulas and other tools to automate and streamline financial reporting processes

• Work closely with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of the company's external financial reports

• Use Oracle Reports and other financial reporting software to generate, analyze, and present financial data in a clear and understandable manner.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Functions and Financial Reporting

• Comprehensive understanding and application of Financial Reporting Standards

• Experience with External and Annual Financial Reporting

• Knowledge of IFRS - Intl Financial Reporting Stds

• Ability to handle Internal Financial Reporting and KPI Reporting

• Experience in preparing Monthly Forecasts and the Annual Budget

• Strong skills in Analysis and Financial Analysis

• Ability to Provide Financial Analysis as per company requirements

• Experience in Process Implementation

• Competency in Monthly Financial Reporting

• Proficiency in Excel Formulas and Microsoft Excel

• Experience in a Public Company and Public Company Reporting

• Familiarity with Oracle Reports
