Description
A Legal Document Clerk is responsible for maintaining and organizing legal documents for a busy law firm. This role entails reviewing documents to ensure accuracy, filing paperwork properly, and retrieving files and documents when requested. They will also be responsible for handling sensitive information and should have a clear understanding of legal terminology. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, have detailed knowledge of legal documentation, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. Familiarity with document management software, along with strong organizational and multitasking abilities, will be key for success in this role.
Requirements • Possess strong skills in answering inbound calls, effectively addressing client queries and concerns.
• Demonstrated expertise in providing high-quality customer service, fostering positive relationships with clients.
• Proficient in data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in recording and processing information.
• Experienced in handling email correspondence professionally, responding promptly and accurately to inquiries.
• Ability to manage both inbound and outbound calls, maintaining a high level of professionalism and courtesy.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, capable of handling complex data analysis and reporting tasks.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Outlook for managing emails, appointments, contacts, tasks, and calendar events.
• Proficient in creating and editing presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Competent in using Microsoft Word for creating, formatting, and editing documents.
• Experienced in scheduling appointments effectively, minimizing conflicts and ensuring smooth operations.
