Description
Accountemps has an immediate need for a talented Office Manager/Bookkeeper. If you have experience with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then this may be the right Bookkeeper role for you. Responsibilities:
Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Look after archived records by categorizing documents
Balance accounts by reconciling entries
Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits
Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
Conduct and manage the general ledger
Requirements
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
Well-founded grasp of Prepare Proposal
Proven knowledge of Administrative Office
Microsoft Excel experience desired
General familiarity with Proposal Writer
Experience with billing
Sage 100 experience is a plus
Practical knowledge of bookkeeping
Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
Prior experience working with collections/accounting software
